Aubrey Plaza revisits her NBC page days in her “Saturday Night Live” monologue

January 23, 2023      Andrew Buss      News, Saturday Night Live, Television

Aubrey Plaza’s ties with NBC go far beyond when Parks and Recreation started in 2009. They actually start at SNL.

Plaza was an NBC Page that worked at SNL, which made her monologue this past Saturday feel something like a homecoming. During the monologue, she decided to put on the page jacket for old time sakes and give us a tour of 8H, while showing off just how “great” of a page she was, in her own words.

Also of note is the cameos in the monologue. During the tour, Plaza runs into former co-star Amy Poehler. But she also shares a special message from President Joe Biden, which makes him the first sitting president since Gerald Ford in 1976 to make a pre-recorded appearance on the show.
