If you ever wanted to buy a poncho that has a picture of The Office’s B.J. Novak on the packaging, that’s oddly specific. But also, that’s a thing that now exists.
This week, Novak took to his Instagram stories to share that due to a mistake years ago, an image of him was accidentally made public domain. This error opened the floodgates for his face to appear on many products overseas. Including facepaint in Uruguay, cologne in Sweden, two razors, a poncho, and we’d imagine even more.
“Years ago, someone mistakenly put an image of me on a public domain site, and now apparently I am on products all around the world, but I am too amused to do anything about it,” Novak shared.
So there you have it. You now know what to get for the B.J. Novak fan in your life for Christmas.
