The Beards to release a new album about (what else) beards

Beards. Everyone loves them, but not many more than Australian act The Beards. So far, the group has three albums, all about beards. Their last album, Having a Beard is the New Not Having a Beard, featured the above classic, “You Should Consider Having Sex With a Bearded Man.” And while it’s going to be tough for the hirsute quartet to top that song, they do have a new album coming out later this year. Unsurprisingly, it’s called The Beard Album. If Tenacious D only wrote songs about facial hair, they’d sound a bit like the band. While the new album doesn’t have a release date yet, they’ll likely be road-testing some songs from it on their just-announced 41-date Australian tour. We’re not ignorant, but we didn’t even know there were 41 cities in Australia.
