Doug Benson’s The Benson Interruption debuts this weekend on Comedy Central. In what we can only think is a marketing move that is probably some sort of perfect green weed wind storm for stoners, his first guest will be Nick Swardson. And it takes virtually no time to realize these two are in a great state of mind for the show.
Doug lays out the basic premise of the show in the first few seconds of the clip but if you must know, it’s pretty much a comedian talking to a crowd with Benson chiming in where it makes sense. Hilarity ensues.
Beat THAT Japan!
The clip sets us up nicely for what is going to be an amazing show! Benson is clearly comfortable doing this since he’s this show for a while before moving things to TV. It’s also pretty obvious that these comedians are his friends so we’re sure there’s going to be excellent give and take to make things funny.
In addition to Swardson, guests lined up for the first run of initial episodes include Adam Carolla, Chris Hardwick, Nick Kroll, Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Thomas Lennon, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Eugene Mirman.
The show debuts at midnight this Friday (well, technically Saturday morning) on Comedy Central.
