Billy on the Street’s fiery host, Billy Eichner, is reportedly writing a book. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eichner has inked a deal with Grand Central Publishing to write a book about Hollywood and pop culture.
“I’m very excited to start writing, and I can assure my fans they will love the book more than Shailene Woodley loves Tom’s of Maine. This book is for anyone obsessed with show business, pop culture, social media and lots of other fun topics that fill our days as we hurtle helplessly toward accidents, illness, infidelity and death,” Eichner said.
Eichner is one of comedy’s fastest rising stars. His show Billy on the Street has garnered Emmy noms, he played the recurring role of Craig on the last season of Parks and Recreation, and currently teamed up with Amy Poehler and his BOTS head writer Julie Klausner to create and co-star in the pilot Difficult People for the USA network. Now add “author” to that list to complete one hell of a resume.
