It’s about time. That’s what friends and fellow comics Dan Soder and Big Jay Oakerson must be thinking. But the time it takes from conception to completion instantly feels like only a second once it does finally get off the ground. And that’s been the case with The Bonfire, the new and first live staple to hit Comedy Central Radio on SiriusXM. “This radio show has existed since the day Soder and I met, now we finally get a chance to share it with a live audience,” said Oakerson. Soder adds, “Looking forward to having fun on the radio with Jay!” Oakerson and Soder are also each set to debut new stand-up specials for the network next year. So this is a great look moving forward for not only the two comics but the network. The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder will invite listeners and friends to come and hang out by the radio bonfire as the blunt and candid twosome discuss everything from comedy and entertainment to sports, sharing their funniest stories from the road and giving fans a chance to call in and get their opinions on the topics of the day. The show kicks off today at 8pm and will air live every Monday and Wednesday at the same time.
