Last week, comedians Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen performed at the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club in San Antonio. They were performing dates on June 25th through June 27th. Callen took to Instagram in a video earlier today to share the news.
“I believe I caught it in San Antonio, Texas. The reason why I believe that is I got tested Monday and I tested negative. I started feeling badly Tuesday morning I think, so I got tested again Wednesday and I’m positive pending, which means, I’m probably positive. The point is if you fist-bumped me – I realize I fist-bumped a couple people… or if you took a picture with me outside after show, go get tested. If you took a picture with Brendan Schaub or Stevie Blue Eyes, go get tested. My guess is, from talking to certain people who know the difference, we caught it there. We didn’t transmit it but don’t take any chances.”

I tested positive pending for Covid 19 guys. If you first bumped me or took a picture with me in San Antonio please go get tested immediately. I’m told I CAUGHT it there because I tested NEGATIVE Monday but positive Wednesday. So sorry to report this but had to say something.
Schaub also posted a tweet today confirming the same. He also elaborated a bit more on the circumstances in the latest The Fighter and The Kid podcast, which he co-hosts with Callen. At the time, Callen didn’t have his test back yet. Callen does mention that Stevie Blue Eyes, who was with them, is showing symptoms.
Well…I got corona. After day three I’m almost back to 100%. Tune into today’s TFATK!

We wish a speedy recovery to both Bryan and Brendan, and anyone else who may have contracted it last weekend. And if you had any contact with them in San Antonio, we definitely recommend getting yourself tested. Also, let this be a reminder to stay vigilant at times like this, when you are out and about be aware of your surroundings, wash your hands, practice social distancing, and wear a damn mask.
