Broad City, W. Kamau Bell, Nikki Glaser and more headline LGBTQ benefit concert ‘Uncivil Union’

Comedians and musicians will come together June 25th during New York City’s Pride week for a benefit concert, “Uncivil Union,” to support equality. Comedy Central’s newest break-out stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson of Broad City will headline the concert, along with comedians Eliot Glazer, W.Kamau Bell, Nikki Glaser, and Cameron Esposito. They will also be joined by TV personality Carrie Keagan, musicians Jillette Johnson, Mates of State, Wakey!Wakey!, and DJ $mall Change, with more surprise guests to be announced.
“Uncivil Union” will benefit charity organizations Broadway Impact and New Alternatives. Broadway Impact is a grassroots organization of theater artists and fans mobilized to support marriage equality. New Alternatives is an organization that works to increase the self-sufficiency of homeless LGBT youth to enable them to “go beyond” the shelter system and transition into stable adult lives. The concert will be put on by The Ally Coalition, created by the Grammy-winning artist FUN. and designor Rachel Antonoff, with additional support by online video network Above Average. The Ally Coalition was created to inspire people to take action for LGBTQ equality.

The concert will be held at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge next Wednesday, June 25th. General admission tickets are just $35, while VIP tickets sell at $98.
