Today’s the day Saturday Night Live alum Brooks Wheelan releases his debut comedy album entitled This is Cool, Right? Brooks went to University of Iowa and got a biomedical engineering degree, but then decided to pursue comedy. In 2013 he made his television debut on Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party. And in 2012, he was invited to perform at the New York Comedy Festival as a part of Comedy Central’s Top 10 Comics to Watch. Wheelan was a breakout performer as a new face at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal as well as the Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival. He’s also performed on Conan. You can grab his new album from Comedy Dynamics on iTunes, Amazon, and be sure to follow him on twitter. He recently filmed an episode of Girls. And wrapped up Stereotypically You, a feature film starring Kelen Coleman (The Newsroom, The McCarthy’s), as well as Chris and Abby Elliot (SNL). Stay Tuned.
