Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key are stuck in a musical in the trailer for “Schmigadoon!”

Last year, Apple TV+ had a hit on their hand with a series starring an SNL cast member with Ted Lasso. So now, they’re trying it again with Cecily Strong in a new musical comedy.
As the newly released trailer shows, Schmigadoon! follows a couple (played by Strong and Keegan-Michael Key) who accidentally wander into a musical town not unlike what you’d find in The Music Man. But the twist is, now that they’re there, there’s no way for them to escape.
The show boasts a talented cast of comedians and musical theater people alike including Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Fred Armisen, Jaime Camil, Jane Krakowski and Ann Harada.
Schmigadoon! hits Apple TV+ on July 16th.
