A few weeks ago, Jimmy Kimmel announced that he would be taking the summer off from Jimmy Kimmel Live! to spend time with his family. However, because a gap in new episodes of his talk show for 3 to 4 months wouldn’t be the best business for ABC or those with projects to promote, the show has decided to bring in a roster of guest hosts. Last week, the show brought in Anthony Anderson and Billy Eichner to fill in.
This week, the show has been hosted by some of the most prominent comedic voices out there today, and as expected, they delivered some pretty strong monologues. First up was Iliza Shlesinger on Monday. In her monologue, she spoke about cancel culture and what she’d like to see go away. On Tuesday, Whitney Cummings took over and talked about being a woman hosting a talk show, the Washington Redskins changing their name, and roasting “maskless idiots”. Finally, Sebastian Maniscalco took over the reins last night. In his monologue, he talked about going to the supermarket in a pandemic, etiquette for Zoom meetings, and had his daughter answer viewer questions.
Check out their respective monologues below.
