Watch Nate Bargatze’s latest stand-up set on “The Tonight Show”

Jimmy Fallon has long regarded Nate Bargatze as one of his favorite stand-up comics currently in the game (and one of ours, too!). So, Friday night, Bargatze is the first comic to perform a stand-up set on The Tonight Show since the pandemic started this past March. Bargatze’s 5 minutes was filmed at Stand Up Live in Huntsville, AL. Not near his hometown in Tennessee, but perhaps a stop he made during his current drive-in tour? Bargatze took the opportunity to take on COVID – how coughing in public is cancelled, getting your temperature taken when you go to a restaurant. But he also managed to get in his fantastic father material in a time like his with homeschooling with new math, and figuring out which bus number his daughter is on.
We are so happy to see stand-up on late night again, and also that comedy clubs that could definitely use the attention right now are being highlighted on tv.
