Watch the trailer for Sebastian Maniscalco’s new movie, “About My Father”

Sebastian Maniscalco is no stranger to film, having appeared in the critically acclaimed Green Book and The Irishman. Now, Maniscalco is the lead in his own film, with his co-star from The Irishman, Robert De Niro.

In About My Father – which Maniscalco co-wrote – Maniacalco plays a fictionalized version of himself who brings his father – played by De Niro – along with his wife to her parents’ house for Fourth of July weekend.

The film comes premieres in theaters on May 26th (Memorial Day Weekend). Oddly enough, the same weekend as Bert Kreischer’s long-awaited movie based on his life, The Machine.
