Keegan-Michael Key, a veteran of Second City, MadTV, and of course Key & Peele, clearly knows a thing or two about what it’s like to be a sketch performer. So who better qualified to take us on this journey through the history of sketch comedy?
Today, Audible released the trailer for their new series The History of Sketch Comedy, hosted by Key. In it, Key will “visit major moments in sketch history, highlighting performers and sketch shows from the first acting troupes that toured Europe in the 1500s to the rise of Variety television, and training grounds such as The Second City in Chicago. He’ll share some influential moments and sketches along the way.”
Audible Plus members can listen to the series starting on January 28th.
