“Christmas with the Campbells” seems like a fun spin on the traditional holiday rom-coms

November 18, 2022      Andrew Buss      Movies, News

Hallmark movies have become a staple of the holidays at this point. Every single year, it seems like there’s more and more holiday rom-coms coming out that follow every tired cliche and trope that can be mustered up.

Christmas with the Campbells seems like it could be an escape from that.

The film, which was written by Vince Vaughn and Dan Lagana, follows what happens “when Jesse gets dumped right before the holidays by her boyfriend Shawn, his parents convince her to still spend Christmas with them, and Shawn’s handsome cousin, while Shawn is away.”

Christmas with the Campbells hits AMC+ and theaters on December 2nd.
