Colin Quinn is a few weeks away form launching his new one man show in New York City. Small Talk is a new comedy written and starring Quinn and will open for previews at the Lucille Lortel Theatre starting January 6th. The show will officially open on the 23rd and run as a limited engagement through February 11th.
Small Talk is produced by Mike Lavoie, Carlee Briglia, and Brian Stern and is directed by James Fauvell who is teaming up to direct Quinn again after working with him on Red State, Blue State (Off-Broadway and CNN) and Colin Quinn And Friends (HBO Max).
In his latest attempt at humor, Colin breaks down the one area he’s actually gifted in: Personality. Mr. Quinn has been chatting it up with friends, family, municipal employees and counter people for his whole life and now he can teach you how to stop sucking the energy out of the room. Said Quinn, “I’m doing this show because I’m fascinated with how personality in general (and individuals in particular) have fed into society. Fascinated might be a strong word.”
Tickets are available for both previews and the limited run on his website for all performances.
