Comedian David A. Arnold dead at 54

Some sad news in the comedy community. It’s been announced that David A. Arnold has passed away at the age of 54. His family announced the news in a statement.

“It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold. David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time, as we are all shocked and devasted by this loss.”

Arnold was a comedian who had two specials air on Netflix, Fat Ballerina and It Ain’t For the Weak. The latter was released less than two months ago on July 20th.

Additionally, he was also a television writer having written for Fuller House, Meet the Browns, House of Pain, The Rick Smiley Show, Partners, Zoe Ever After, Bigger, and Side Hustle. In 2021, he created and was the show runner for That Girl Lay Lay on Nickelodeon.
