On Friday night, we learned the very sad news that comedian Jak Knight had died at only 28 years-old. And now, we have learned the cause of death.
Following an autopsy report, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner reported that Knight was found with a gunshot wound. The coroner has rule his death as a suicide.
At this time, Knight’s family has not said anything else regarding his death, aside from their initial statement when we first learned of his death. “Knight’s loved ones ask that their privacy please be respected during this extremely difficult time,” the initial statement said.
Knight was certainly a rising star in comedy, as he was getting more and more attention through his projects. At the time of his death, he had created and starred on a new Peacock series Bust Down and was a writer/regular on Big Mouth and Pause with Sam Jay.
He will definitely be missed by the comedy community, and it’s obviously sad to learn the cause of his death was suicide.
