Comedy Central announces fall premieres, a “Daily Show” special, and even more episodes of “The President Show”

July 26, 2017      Sam      News, Television

Mark your calendars now: Comedy Central has just announced a whole slew of important dates, like the fall premieres of Broad City, The Jim Jefferies Show, and The Establishment with Jordan Klepper, a Daily Show week-long trip to Chicago, a sketch special from Hasan Minhaj, and yet another extension of runaway hit The President Show.

Here’s everything you need to know about Comedy Central’s upcoming premieres, debuts, and specials:

  • Broad City returns for a fourth season on Wednesday, September 13th
  • The Jim Jefferies Show gets ten more episodes starting Tuesday, September 19th
  • Starting Thursday, September 28th, The President Show will get another seven-episode extension — plus, it’ll be moving into the coveted midnight time slot
  • Long-awaited Daily Show spinoff The Establishment with Jordan Klepper premieres on Monday, September 25th (and it’s got an amazing tagline: “Not Mainstream. Not Establishment. Not Helping.”)
  • The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will head to Chicago for a full week of special shows, from October 16th – 19th (in Chi-town? You can grab tickets to the tapings now.)

And while there’s no set premiere date, the network announced it’ll be producing an hour-long sketch special, Goatface, from the four-man comedy team of the same name that includes The Daily Show‘s Hasan Minhaj, Asif Ali, Fahim Anwar, and Aristotle Athiras.
