Comedy Central announces “Jeff Dunham’s Completely Unrehearsed Last-Minute Pandemic Holiday Special”

November 11, 2020      Andrew Buss      Jeff Dunham, News

After having done a special for Netflix last year, it seems Jeff Dunham is coming back to Comedy Central.

Today it was officially announced that Jeff Dunham has been tapped for three new special with Comedy Central. The first of which is a Thanksgiving/holiday special that he filmed last month in Malibu titled Jeff Dunham’s Completely Unrehearsed Last-Minute Pandemic Holiday Special. And just as the title would suggest, Dunham had never performed most of the material that you’ll see before.

“This holiday season, it feels like the perfect fit being back on Comedy Central, and I couldn’t be happier, or even more honored,” said Dunham in a statement. “We all need a good laugh right now, and nothing is more important than doing that with family and friends… And maybe even with family members you can’t stand… Okay, not them. Never mind. Just watch the damn special.”

“Not a single joke told by any of the characters, except Peanut, has been tried on anyone, not even my wife,” he added. “But for Peanut’s closer, I wanted to show off the classic bit that launched my career on TV in the early ‘90’s. It’s a family favorite.”

Jeff Dunham’s Completely Unrehearsed Last-Minute Pandemic Holiday Special airs on Comedy Central on November 27th at 8 P.M. ET. And be sure to be on the lookout for our upcoming interview with Dunham for The Laugh Button.
