Comedy Central is still in the Anthony Jeselnik game. Today the network announced the renewal for the comedian’s late night spoof talk show Good Talk for an eight-episode second season. The show has the comedian interviewing his comedian friends in his signature acerbic style that lampoons the interview show in the process with awkward questions and studio segments.
“Anthony has a knack for wit and irony in the flow of conversation, which makes him a hilarious and great interviewer,” said Sarah Babineau and Jonas Larsen, Co-Heads of Original Content. “It’ll be a treat to see him continue to push boundaries with an all-new lineup of comedian friends.”
“I love making this show and look forward to continuing Comedy Central’s unprecedented winning streak through 2020,” said Jeselnik.
No premiere date was given for the second season but its assumed it will debut in 2020.
