Comedy Central’s next Roast will be of Bruce Willis

April 10, 2018      Matt Kleinschmidt      News, Roasts, Television

It’s been a minute since Comedy Central held a roast. Two years in fact, back when Rob Lowe was roasted in the Summer of 2016. Today, the network announced its subject for the next roast, and it’s a biggie. That’s because it will be John McLane himself! Bruce Willis. A teaser was released announcing that the roast of Bruce Willis will come this summer, though no date was revealed yet. In the past, these roasts have aired over Labor Day Weekend, which we suppose is still technically in the summer. The roast will tape in Los Angeles.

“Bruce has survived terrorists, Armageddon, romance and death itself. Yet, nothing has prepared him for this Roast,” said Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central. Wills followed up with the statement, “This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humorless assholes for a couple hours,” said Willis.
