ABC has ordered two more comedy pilots. First up, Family Fortune. Fortune Feimster (Chelsea Lately, 2 Broke Girls) stars and co-wrote the pilot with Matt Hubbard (Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock) about a gym teacher in Georgia who comes out to her family and friends, just as her divorced parents begin to rekindle their relationship. Hubbard reunites as an exec producer with his 30 Rock showrunners Fey and Robert Carlock. Feimster is a co-exec producer. The second pilot is an adaptation of the 1989 comedy Uncle Buck. The project hails from exec producer Will Packer (Think Like a Man, Ride Along). Steven Cragg (Scrubs, MADtv) and Brian Bradley (Happy Endings, Cougar Town) penned the pilot about a childish man who winds up taking care of his brother’s children. Cragg and Bradley exec produce with Packer.
