So how do you usher in a brand new comedy festival? You throw a kick ass kickoff announcement party and showcase, that’s how. And that is exactly what the Crapshoot Comedy Festival is doing. The 2017 Crapshoot Comedy Festival presents Sean Patton, DJ Douggpound, Byron Bowers and Emily Heller at LIB during Life is Beautiful. You can grab tickets here.
“We could not be more excited to be a part of Life Is Beautiful in bringing top-shelf comedy to Downtown Las Vegas with our Saturday night Crapshoot Comedy Showcases” says Crapshoot Comedy Festival founder Paul Chamberlain. “It’s the perfect venue and crowd for announcing the inaugural Festival. After all, Las Vegas was essentially the birthplace of 20th Century stand-up comedy and I want our festival to acknowledge that history and recapture some magic within the stylish clubs and historic hotels of today’s East Fremont Street.”
There will be three Crapshoot Comedy Showcases and they’ll take place at 5:30pm, 7:30pm, and 9:30pm on Saturday September 24th.
The Crapshoot Comedy Festival as a whole will take place May 18-20, 2017. The Crapshoot Comedy Festival is designed to be the premier Las Vegas comedy festival featuring nationally recognized stand-up comedians, as well as popular podcasts, screenings and much more. It is this unique blending of comedy and community packed within the historic East Fremont district of downtown Las Vegas that makes the Crapshoot Comedy Festival an authentic new offering brimming with enormous potential and staying power. Intimate venues intertwined with a communal playground of partners, merchants and mischief creates a nexus of attraction for thousands of Las Vegas residents and visitors alike.
