Today, news broke that press secretary Sean Spicer has resigned from Trump’s White House — effectively ruining the next season of Saturday Night Live for Melissa McCarthy fans. In response to the breaking news, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah released this exclusive clip, saying goodbye to Spicer (whose bumbling speeches and obvious, constant anger made him the target of many Daily Show jokes during his short stint in office). The show bids adieu the best way they know how: with a montage recalling some of Spicer’s more ridiculous moments on the job.
