Dane Cook - Above It All

Party people, tonight is the night. Dane Cook is prepping for the release of his new stand-up comedy special Above It All tonight. It’s been 4 years since the comedian has released a stand-up comedy special and this time around he’s dropping it via pay-per-view service Moment. Which for those eagle-eyed comedy fans, is the same platform in which other comedians like Andrew Schulz, Matt Braunger, Kurt Brauhnoler, and Whitney Cummings have or are about to drop comedy specials and podcasts one, give them directly to fans.

Because COVID really messed up live performances for many, Dane recorded Above It All set up shop on his front porch the Hollywood Hills overlooking Los Angeles with director Marty Callner (Vicious Circle, ISolated Incident). So it’s literally above it all.

Cook is one of the most influential comedians this century has turned out. With hit albums like Harmful If Swallowed and Retaliation still being infinitely quotable as they rapidly spread around college campuses via filesharing sites as the comedian directly connected with all fans through an emerging trend called social media. Cook is one of the first comics to breakout utilizing online methods that are considered normal to comics today. Admit it or not, almost much every comedian working today is operating off a blueprint that Cook created.

Above It All and some exclusive merch packages are available at on Moment.co/DaneCook for purchase beginning at 9pm ET. If you miss it tonight, the special will be available for up to 14 days afterward. Giddyyup!
