If you are a regular of the NYC comedy scene, chances are you’ve caught comedian Nathan Macintosh on stage at some point performing some wildly animated stand-up. At one of said performances earlier in 2022 he mentioned to us that he had a bunch of “finance material” knocking around his head that he was debating recording for Youtube.
Well, fast forward a few months and he went and did just that. In the fall of 2022, Macintosh set up shop at Gotham Comedy Club and recorded Money Never Wakes. Forty Five killer minutes of material based around the comedian’s strong awareness that he knows nothing about how money works and the thought that probably most other people don’t know as well. Whether it being scraping to get by, who really actually knows what the heck crypto currency is, and billionaires’ unrelenting desire to own everything.
