Donald Glover will not be attending ‘Community’ full time in the fall for season 5

The first thing I thought of when hearing this news is, “Oh man! Abed is not going to like this!”

Reports are coming in that Donald Glover will not be returning as a full time cast member of Season 5 of Community. What this means is less of Troy in the hallways of Greendale Community College. The reason being that Glover wants to spend more time with his musical project, Childish Gambino. So far the show is only scheduled for a 13 episode run and Glover is slated to star in 5. So as the show’s creator/showrunner Dan Harmon returns, another cast member is slowing down their role.

So less Troy Barnes but more Childish Gambino. Why not more of crossover moments like they did with Betty White?
