Comedian Erik Griffin has been added to the cast of a sitcom pilot in the works at ABC.
The sitcom in question, Bucktown, “centers on Amy (Shannon Woodward), who, after being dumped by her boyfriend and kicked out of her apartment on the eve of a big promotion, finds refuge at her mom’s house in the blue-collar neighborhood where she grew up.”
Griffin’s character is described as being “The sweetest, most open-hearted man who adores his wife and partner, Jan, but is not afraid to call her out.”
Griffin joins the previously announced cast of Woodward, Jane Lynch and Nicole Richie. The pilot was written by Emily Wilson and will be directed by Betty Thomas.
