Eugene Mirman is set to record a new wave of delightfully absurdist humor for a new album next weekend in Seattle. This will be Mirman’s fifth album after 2004’s The Absurd Nightclub Comedy of Eugene Mirman, 2006’s En Garde, Society!, 2009’s God is a Twelve-Year-Old Boy with Aspbergers, and 2012’s An Evening of Comedy in a Fake Underground Laboratory which also aired a special on Comedy Central.
Mirman always puts on an incredibly unique show often incorporating his ventures in social media and customer support trolling. The comedian recently performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers and is well known as the voice of Gene Belcher on Bob’s Burgers. He also produces the very successful Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival in Boston and Brooklyn, NY each year. Mirman will be recording his new album at Seattle’s Columbia Theatre June 6-8 with poet Derrick Brown opening Saturday and Sunday night.
