Back in January 2019, it was announced that F Is For Family, the Netflix animated series starring and created by Bill Burr was renewed for season 4. And now we finally have our first look.
In the trailer, we see Frank (Burr) reflecting on his childhood, mainly focusing on the abuse he had gotten from his father calling him “the worst f*cking father that’s ever lived”. To this day, he’s clearly still harvesting a lot of animosity when his dad (Jonathan Banks) shows back up in his life, considerably a lot more calmed with age.
It’s always a treat when Jonathan Banks, best known for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, tries his hand at comedy again. (His run on Community can attest to his skill at doing so). Alongside Burr, the main voice cast includes Laura Dern, Justin Long, Debi Derryberry, Haley Reinhart and Sam Rockwell.
While they haven’t announced when exactly the Murphy family will be returning our households yet, given the presence of a trailer, we imagine it’s soon.
