One of comedy’s current dream teams, Mr. Will Ferrell and sir John C. Reilly, will be returning to the big screen together in their new flick called Devil’s Night. The Wrap reports the story will take place on October 30th, hence the name “Devil’s Night.” It was on this unofficial holiday that Leonard and Gabe (Ferrell and Reilly) became best friends as kids, however eventually they had a falling out because of the big night. Now, 15 years later, they put their differences aside to save the neighborhood.
Does the movie sound exactly like Step Brothers? Absolutely, but you can’t argue with the formula, after all, Step Brothers ended up making over 100 million at the box office. No word yet on if Adam McKay will direct the film but it’s a safe assumption since McKay and Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez Productions is overseeing the movie.
