Fletch: 25 Years Later It’s Still All Ball Bearings

May 27, 2010      Marc      Movies, News, Video

We love Fletch! We can walk up to anybody, anywhere and quote parts of the movie. We’re part of the “White Losers” the Boston Phoenix is talking about and we’re proud of it. Especially with this weekend marking the 25th Anniversary of the movie.

There’s been talks of remaking the movie over the years, but nobody can seem to pull the trigger. Fletch needs to just live as it was created and even Zach Galifinakis won’t be able to save a remake. Sure it would be fun to watch him try but he and everyone else, need to leave Fletch alone.

“…of course, there is the long list of noted comedic actors who have been named heir to the Fletch throne in any number of never-made sequels and attempted reboots. (The latest candidate is Zach Galifianakis.)”

Since we’re old white losers, just go prep for another visit to the doctor.
