Forbes Magazine released its list of top earning comedians and we gotta tell you, people like it when other people stick their hands up the asses of puppets for your entertainment.
Two of the top 3 spots went to ventriloquists with Jeff Dunham topping the list while human beatbox/America’s Got Talent winner Terry Fator coming in at #3. Other people making the list include Dane Cook, Russell Peters, Chelsea Handler and 3 comedians from the Blue Collar Comedy tour, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Jeff Foxworthy.
So what does the highest paid comedian on the list make? Around a cool $22.5 million dollars per year. You may wonder, “Well Conan walked away with 45 million from his deal with NBC, and Seinfeld makes more money than that just on syndication of his show, why aren’t they on the list?” The answer is simple, the list was populated by comedians who named stand-up as their primary source of income.
