The Republican establishment summons its least influential spokesmen to no avail. Full Frontal with Samantha Bee last night paid tribute to a fallen party marking March 3 2016 as the final day of its existence. Bee is quoted as saying, “Last week the republican party, home to over a century of great statesmen, died the way republican president Chester A. Arthur did. Violently tearing itself in half.” She continued on by saying the party woke up realizing Donald trump is doing to their party what Trump’s a$*hole son is doing to elephants. Then a picture was show.
In Full Frontal‘s R.I.P segment Part II, Bee gets more in depth about the most recent G.O.P. debate comparing the theater it took place in to what must be Trump’s apartment. She then labeled all of the candidates who were on the bill one by one including Rubio being described as the guy who went to prom with his mother. “The party is dead, and the Republican debate in Detroit was the last shovelful of dirt.”
Next, it was time for coverage of the Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton face off in an actual American city without potable water. In this segment, Bee claims she “skipped The Walking Dead to watch 2 hours of the standing barely alive.”
We like safe schools. We like guns everywhere at all time. How do we strike the right balance? This too was addressed last night in a segment called Duck and Cover. “Is there a way to protect school children while still honoring our nation’s rock hard death boner for guns?”
Finally, to wrap up last night’s episode we get another behind the scene’s look at what it’s like for Bee the second she comes off stage and heads back stage in a segment called “Great Job, Sam!” Guys like Ted Cruz don’t stand a chance when Samantha’s at the top of her game:
