FXX has renewed the Jay Baruchel comedy for a second season. The show is about a sad-sack guy, played by Baruchel, in search of love and his sweet and surreal adventures will return for an additional 10 episodes in 2016. Created by Simon Rich and based on his book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth, he is also the executive producer. “Working on Man Seeking Woman has been the creative highlight of my life,” said Rich. “FXX gave us the freedom to make the show we love, and they let us build some truly disgusting monsters. I’m so grateful to John Landgraf and his team for believing in us, and I can’t wait to get back to work.” Man Seeking Woman joins a roster of originals that also includes the upcoming second season of FX transplant You’re the Worst and Tracy Morgan’s untitled comedy. FXX also serves as the cable home for The Simpsons.
