Gas Digital to record/release 6 new half-hour comedy specials for Youtube

Gas Digital announced its plans to record and release new stand-up comedy specials. This comes after the NY-based podcast network recorded and released three full hour specials from its top talent – the 3 hosts of the Legion of Skanks podcast. The network recently recorded and released Big Jay Oakerson’s special to Youtube just a few weeks back. This on the heels of previously successful releases of hours from Luis J Gomez and Dave Smith within the last 5 years.

Now the network is going to step up its game as it planned to record and release 6 half hours from comics with the plan for them to follow the current trend of dropping these special on Youtube for free as part of a series they’re dubbing, “30 Minutes With…”

For anyone who listens to the podcasts within the GaS ecosystem, you’ll be very familiar with the talent tapped for these recordings. They include Rich Vos, Kurt Metzger, Luis J Gomez, Dave Smith, Colum Tyrrell and Jordan Jenson. Metzger and Vos have dropped previous specials and are regular podcast guests (Metzger did have a show on the network for a bit). Gomez and Smith are recording their follow-up debuts from GaS. While Tyrrell and Jensen are regulars on many GaS podcasts and emerging talent out of NYC.

The recordings will happen over the course of 3 nights at The Cutting Room in New York City where Smith and Gomez recorded their previous hour specials. There will be a 7pm and 10pm recording each night. The final recordings will drop on Youtube in late summer/early fall 2023.

The recordings will occur from July 10th through the 12th and tickets will be available for free. You can pick them up starting Monday, May 22nd at 1pm ET. All you have to do is visit the gasdigital.com/30 to grab one.
