Hari Kondabolu to release debut comedy album, “Waiting for 2042” on March 11th

Hari Kondabolu is one of the brainier comedians the world has seen lately, and that worked well for the comedian whose latest job was writing for the politically charged Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell. Kondabolu will now be able to add the release of his first-ever stand-up comedy album to his list of accomplishments. The special, Waiting for 2042 will be released on Kill Rock Stars. A Label that most recently put out an impressive comedy album from Kurt Braunohler.
Konabolu recorded the special live in Oakland, CA, as he entertains and challenges his very excited audience with material about white Jesus, eating the rich, Matthew McConaughey, socially conscious time travel and how 90s alternative rock band Weezer broke his heart. Why did he name his special Waiting for 2042? Because that’s the year the census projects as the year when white folks’ population will drop to minority rates.
Let Hari explain it.
You can pre-order Hari’s new special now at Kill Rock Stars’ website where you will also get yourself some buttons and a personalized postcard from Hari.
