Stoners across the country are breathing a sigh of (THC) relief. The sequel to the wildly popular movie, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle has begun to form together nicely. Not only will the two main characters (played by John Cho and Kal Penn) return for the sequel. But other characters from the first movie will return, such as Neil Patrick Harris, who played a drugged-up, womanizing parody of himself in the first film as well as Paula Garces, who played Harold’s love interest.
The plot of the sequel is said to be based on the duo travelling to Amsterdam so Harold can pursue his love interest. Before boarding the plane Kumar is mistaken for a terrorist and thus leads the pair into a case of mistaken identity leading the boys through different countries and the deep south of USA.
Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who wrote the original Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, will direct the follow-up from their original script. There is no release date for the movie set yet.
