If you haven’t learned by now, HBO Max has a great lineup of comedy programming with both live action (Hacks, The Other Two, That Damn Michael Che) and animated (Velma, Tucca & Bertie, Rick & Morty). A sleeper animated series for us is Harley Quinn. An adult take on the iconic DC character that’s loaded with a lot of humor and a supremely talented voiceover cast – Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Deidrich Bader, Jim Rash, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, James Adomian, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Alan Tudyk, and Christopher Meloni (to name a few). The series just wrapped its third season and worth the watch if you’re looking for your next easy and fun binge watch.
To hold us all over until season four drops the streamed just announced a special just in time for the most romantic time of year called Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special which will feature Harley and Ivy “celebrating their very first Valentine’s Day together, while also revealing how the rest of the ragtag crew spends the gushiest, mushiest, most romantic day of the year.”
In addition to the talented cast, the special will also include some more vocal talents from Janet Varney, Rachel Dratch, Casey Wilson, Michael Ironside, James Wolk, and Natalie Morales. The special will air in February 2023.
