The Duplass Brothers get the green-light for season two of their HBO show Togetherness. According to HBO, the premiere episode averaged 2.6 million viewers across multiple platforms. The Duplass brothers have said, “We began our love affair with HBO in our parents’ living room in 1983, and to have these brilliant creative people put a ring on our fingers with a second season of ‘Togetherness’ is a real life dream come true.” The series revolves around two very different couples living in the same house in Eagle Rock. The half-hour is three episodes into its eight-episode first season. Togetherness stars Mark Duplass (The League, The Mindy Project), Melanie Lynskey (Two and a Half Men, Up in the Air), Amanda Peet (The Good Wife, The Whole Nine Yards) and Steve Zissis (Her, Park and Recreation). Jay and Mark Duplass are co-creators with Zissis. The brothers are exec producers and also write and direct. Production on season two will begin later this year in Los Angeles for debut next year.
