Jim Norton presents the life & times of the unfunniest man on the planet, The Chip Chipperson Show.
For years, comedian and actor Jim Norton has been doing revolting characters on the radio. “People have asked me so many times to animate them and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.” says Norton. Instead of pitching to networks and trying to explain the appeal of these characters, Norton is looking to his fans to round up funding so so he can keep them true to form with no interference.
Norton has set up a campaign to fund at least five episodes, possibly more of The Chip Chipperson Show (see tease below). The animation would be made by Big Hug Productions, who has teamed up with the likes of GE, HBO, Comedy Central, PBS, Nickelodeon, and Disney, among others, so you know it’s going to be quality.
There are plenty of tasty rewards that start at just $10 and go all the way to $25,000 where you become an executive producer of and even get killed on the show by Chip. Head over to the Indiegogo campaign page for all the incentives and a complete character list breakdown. But before you do, check out this five minute teaser clip:
