Here’s a first look at “The Problem With Jon Stewart” premiering September 30th

The Problem With Jon Stewart

We’re a little over a week before Jon Stewart officially returns to television. Since we’re all wondering what his new show will look like Apple dropped a new trailer for The Problem with Jon Stewart. While similar to The Daily Show in that the series will cover current events, it differs from there as it will be an hour long in format as Stewart plans to take deeper dives into serious topics while not focusing solely on cracking jokes.

In the first look you see Stewart behind his trademark desk, dressed a bit more casual, but taking on some super serious topics that appear to take him beyond mocking the talking heads of our 24hour news cycle. Choosing to focus on bigger ideas and bigger issues. It’s also safe to assume he will be as outspoken about these topics as he’s been for the last 20 years.

Here’s the official show synopsis:

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the world’s problems. It’s harder to pinpoint the systems responsible for creating them. In this series, Jon Stewart brings together people impacted by different parts of a problem to discuss one big question: How do we come up with change?

The Problem with Jon Stewart premieres on Apple TV+ on September 30th.
