Up this week: Seth Rogen

Power Ranking: 8.5
Although Seth Rogen holds the shortest time for his hot streak, the movies he did in that time were all awesome. We left out Anchorman because he only says four words, and we almost left out Step Brothers, but we left it in only because of how funny that tuxedo/fart scene is. The 40-Year-Old Virgin is really what put him on the map and his stardom kept rising with characters like Officer Michaels, Ben Stone, Dale Denton, Ronnie Barnhardt, and Ira Wright. A pretty impressive track record over a four-year span.
After not releasing a film in 2010, his hot streak suffered with The Green Hornet’s release. Since then, he has done voice work for Paul and Kung Fu Panda 2, has starred in a not so funny movie in 50/50, and put himself back on the map with this summer’s comedy hit, This is the End. Hopefully we will see a resurgence of the Seth Rogen we all know and loved from the mid to late 2000s. Until then, the Comedy Central roast of his good friend, James Franco, will definitely be something to set your DVR for. We look forward to see all of the stoner jokes that are sure to take place on September 2nd.
