There’s been another shakeup in the production of the Sony comedy Oh Hell No. The first production delay came after star Jack Black injured himself while filming a segment for Conan back in June. And now, the film’s other star Ice Cube has left the project.
Reports started coming out today that the actor/rapper decided to leave the project after it was required that all actors in the film be vaccinated. Ice Cube opted not to be and subsequently left the project, for which he was supposed to get $9 million dollars.
The film, which is again delayed as they look for a new star, follows the relationship of Sherman (Black) and Will after Sherman falls in love with Will’s mother. It is directed by Kitao Sakurai with a script from Scot Armstrong, Tracy Oliver, Jessica Gao, and Rodney Rothman. No word on when production is begin to start back up.
