You’ve heard people in the comedy world use the term, “tight five” from time to time. This is usually used in reference to when comedian appears on a late night show and performs a stand-up set that lasts, well 5 minutes. Now, Ilana Glazer is turning the phrase into a YouTube series for Comedy Central.
The series, which will drop every Tuesday, will feature 9 up-and-coming comedians performing short sets. Since the first episode with Marie Faustin was a 10 minute set, we have a feeling that the five minute time limit isn’t too strict. Other comedians featured include Alex English, Alison Leiby, Petey DeAbreu, Sydnee Washington, Shalewa Sharpe, Rojo Perez, Fareeha Kahn, and Kristen Buckels and Lacey Jeka.
