James Corden returns to his “Late Late Show” studio for the first time since March
August 11, 2020 Andrew Buss News, The Late Late Show
On last night’s Late Late Show, James Corden returned back to his CBS studio for the first time since everything shut down back in March. Much like Conan and Jimmy Fallon, however, there is naturally no audience present.
Pretty consistent, no matter where you are, is that there’s new safety precautions in place that weren’t really there before. And the Late Late Show is no different. We see James start the show and keep running into those pesky glass shields that are pretty inconveniently placed throughout his studio and hallways. But he still says it’s better than the garage. So sacrifices, we guess! And it’s great to see Reggie Watts and (some) of the band back as well.
While the home shows were something we definite grew accustomed to, it’s nice to see late night hosts getting back into their natural habitat.
