Jerry Seinfeld is bringing the ‘Seinfeld’ crew back together for one time thing

As much as Jerry Seinfeld is said to hate the spotlight, he sure has an interesting way of staying in it. Since the final episode of Seinfeld back in 1998, Jerry has popped up here and there. His most recent project (that we know about) is Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. If you haven’t seen it, the show is exactly what the title says it is.
However, it was recently reviled though that Jerry has even more in the works. Jerry and Jason Alexander (who played George Costanza, a major cast member on Seinfeld) were recently seen at Tom’s Restaurant, a popular spot for many scenes in Seinfeld. One person even posted a picture of the restaurant with the caption “Just saw Jerry and George walking in to Tom’s Restaurant.” Cue theiInternet going insane.
Finally, it looks like we got some answers on what was going on, sort of. Jerry appeared on Boomer & Carton on WFAN radio yesterday morning and spoke a little about the project. While Jerry was very vague in the interview, he did give us a few things. First, he called the project his “Secret project,” so that’s helpful. Secondly, and more important, he did say other Seinfeld characters are involved. That, on the other hand, is exciting good to hear. Jerry also confirmed that Jason was playing the role of George. Furthermore, Jerry says we will see this secret project “very soon.” But before you start jumping to the idea that Seinfeld is back, Jerry did say he feels this project will be a “one and done.”
I have to say, Jerry did a masterful job with this interview. He gave us some clues, dropped some hints, but really, didn’t give anything away. In fact, after hearing the short questioning about the secret project, it only made me want to know what’s going on even more. Do we know some things about it now, yes but do we really know what it is, no. All we do know is the Seinfeld cast is back, presumably for one last time, and we’ll all find out why very soon.
Head here to hear Seinfeld discuss the secret project and be forewarned, you will be much more excited about his secret project after listening to it.
