Jim Gaffigan announced his new comedy special, Noble Ape was going to be released this July. It will be the comedians 6th release and in addition to some of his trademark jokes about his large family and affinity for food, he’ll also take on the very serious subject of his wife and collaborator Jeannie’s brain tumor and subsequent surgery to remove it.
Gaffigan’s released comedy specials with Comedy Central, on Netflix, and even independently. This time around, Gaffigan teamed up with Comedy Dynamics to helm the release of the special – and they’ll put it everywhere – in movie theaters, iTunes, Amazon, Google, Youtube, Playstation, major telco & satellite providers, including AT&T, Comcast, Charter, Dish, and Verizon. See we toldja, everywhere.
A pre-order is up and running right now and as we mentioned, you can even see the special in movie theaters. Everything hits the streets on July 13th.
Gaffigan did some guest couch on last night’s episode of Late Show w/Stephen Colbert. In addition to discussing how he was once invited to speak at the White House Correspondents Dinner, he also discusses the release of Noble Ape.
