Late night television is having a moment right now. Why? Because it’s being forced to be creative and inventive in this time of uncertainty. While we don’t like the reason this happened, we do like what it’s giving us. Case in point, on last night’s monologue (he’s calling them minilogues), Jimmy Kimmel took to his car(antine) for the delivery then pulled up curbside for his interview with the one and only Bill Burr.
Burr and Kimmel had a great and frank conversation about what’s happening in the world, pandemics, the media attempting to scare the public, how difficult it is to run anything, to a few ol’ Billy boy conspiracies. Burr is great in times like these, because like his comedy he tends to offer a perspective different than you’d expect.
